Nottinghamshire paceman Stuart Broad has shaken off a back injury to take his place in the England side for the first Test in Bangladesh.
Broad’s fitness was a big concern for stand-in captain Alistair Cook who has already seen Ryan Sidebottom and Graham Onions depart the tour with injuries.
The injuries paved the way for Middlesex bowler Steven Finn to make his debut with Tim Bresnan also selected.
England team to face Bangladesh: Alistair Cook (C), Michael Carberry, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Iain Bell, Matt Prior (W), Stuart Broad, Tim Bresnan, Graeme Swann, Steven Finn
