Samit Patel will return to the Notts Outlaws line up for this evening's televised Friends Life t20 fixture against Worcetsershire Royals at New Road.
Patel has been granted permission to play by England Team Director Andy Flower as Notts go in search of the home quarter-final that would accompany a top two finish in the North Group.
Graeme White's place is under threat as a result although Director of Cricket Mick Newell may yet decide to include both players following White's impressive bowling display against Yorkshire on Sunday.
Ben Phillips and Jake Ball are also in a 13-man Notts squad although Newell is expected to keep faith with the majority of the side which savoured victory at Headingley.
The fixture holds particular significance for Notts Outlaws opener Tamim Iqbal who will face-off against his close friend and international teammate Shakib Al Hasan.
Live coverage begins at 5.30pm on Sky Sports.
