Notts Academy find themselves joint top of the table after their second win when they dispatched Premier League new boys Worksop in double-quick time.
Academy skipper Andrew Parkin-Coates won the toss and in view of the damp conditions decided to bowl first and it proved to be an astute decision.
The newly-promoted side were skittled for only 92 in 26.3 overs with George Bacon (3-36) and Bobby Gamble (3-16) leading the attack and extras (23) being the leading contributor to the total.
The county side reached their meagre target in less than 40 overs with Hassan Azad (50 not out) particularly catching the eye.
The Academy share the lead with Cuckney who took the honours in another low-scoring game when they defeated reigning champions Clifton by four wickets at the Clifton Oval.
Will Butler won the toss and fielded first and the north Notts team rolled Clifton for 90 inside 35 overs with Luke Wood and Richard Stroh continuing their excellent early-season form with 5-19 and 4-24 respectively.
In difficult batting conditions, Cuckney did not find the target easy and Tom Lungley enjoyed his spell finishing with 4-34; but they secured the win points in the 23rd over for the loss of six wickets with former Kimberley man Nick Langford finishing unbeaten on 26.
Mansfield Hosiery Mills suffered a similar thumping at Cuckney last week but bounced back to secure their first win of the season away at Wollaton.
After being asked to bat first on losing the toss, Mansfield tabled the day's largest total with 237-5 from their 50 overs, with Tom New (94) and Sudesh Fernando (79) putting on 173 for the third wicket.
Alex Reed-Brewer impressed for the home side with a run-a-ball 56 but with him gone and the score on 104-7, things looked bleak.
Some sensible lower-order batting ensured a more respectable total but Wollaton were eventually dismissed in exactly 47 overs for 182. Matt New followed his brother's lead with the bat by grabbing 6-43 with the ball.
The final match of the day could not be completed due to the weather despite starting on time.
Home side Papplewick bucked the trend and won the toss and batted first and went to tea on 190-9 in their 50 overs. Two new imports contributed most to this total, with Matt Dowman (42) and Warren Nel (77) starting their league seasons well.
Matt Wright (3-38) again looked impressive with former Notts man Akhil Patel taking 3-40 in eight overs.
Kimberley will feel disappointed that their innings was limited to 43 overs especially when the game seemed destined for a close finish and they ended on 164-8.
Paldip Sidhu (35) and James Mann (34) led the response with left-armer Bradley Matthews securing 3-31 and Dane Straw 3-19.
