Nottinghamshire members and Outlaws Season Ticket holders will be able gain entry to the match free of charge by presenting their cards on the day.

The clash will be the side's first, having moved their base to the Green and Golds’ home and rebranded this winter following their previous tenure as Lightning, based at Loughborough University.

England leg spinner Sarah Glenn could make her debut for The Blaze against her former region, alongside fellow new recruit Nat Sciver-Brunt and remaining top-order batter Tammy Beaumont.

Their International colleagues Amy Jones and Issy Wong could take to the Trent Bridge turf for the visitors, with U19 Women’s World Cup finalists Hannah Baker and Davina Perrin also set to face a Three Lions teammate in The Blaze’s Josie Groves.

The 50-over clash against the Sparks is the first of five in the opening block of fixtures for The Blaze, prior to the start of the Charlotte Edwards Cup, which takes place across May and June.

14 Rachael Heyhoe Flint group stage matches will be played in total - of which seven will take place in the East Midlands - with a second and third block in July and September respectively.

Lightning finished sixth in the group stages of the competition in 2022, having finished fourth a year prior, when Kirstie Gordon finished as the competition’s top wicket taker.

At the conclusion of the group stages, second and third place will compete for the chance to face the team finishing first in a Lord’s showpiece final, won last year by Northern Diamonds.

The fixture will be the penultimate women’s game hosted at Trent Bridge before the Ashes Test starting on June 22, with The Blaze facing Sunrisers in a T20 Double Header alongside Notts Outlaws on 4 June.
