Ben Slater feels that his time in the middle has left him well-prepared for Nottinghamshire's upcoming Vitality County Championship campaign, after compiling an unbeaten 93 against Northamptonshire.
The knock, Slater's second of over fifty in a matter of days, followed a productive trip to Abu Dhabi for the Green and Golds' pre-season tour - and the left-hander is satisfied with the state of his game as competitve cricket draws near.
