Peter Moores praised the skill and temperament of Haseeb Hameed and Joe Clarke after the pair added 131 for the third wicket having been asked to follow on against Essex. Haseeb Hameed made an unbeaten century - passing 1000 runs for the season in the process - while Joe Clarke contributed 62 not out on the penultimate day of action.
