Notts finished the day in control, bowling the visitors out for 169 by tea before closing the day on 164-3 - skipper Haseeb Hameed hitting his third consecutive half-century this campaign.

Brett Hutton contributed with 4 wickets to his name, whilst Jack Haynes (34*) saw the day out by forming a strong partnership with Hameed.
