Jack Haynes reflected on his maiden Nottinghamshire First-Class century with great pride after he played a pivotal role in guiding the Green and Golds to a dominant draw with Essex.
Haynes, who struck 142 to salute the home balcony and Trent Bridge faithful on the final morning, talked of his role in the side in which he now flourishes, as well as the character of the squad that has begun the Rothesay County Championship with back-to-back unbeaten home games.
