Joe Clarke has become a force to be reckoned with in all formats since joining Notts from Worcestershire ahead of the 2019 season.
The belligerent right-hander is already fourth on Notts’ top T20 run-scorers list with over 2,000, having also made two tons, one of which stands at the top score made in an innings for Notts - 136 vs Northamptonshire in 2022.
He was appointed the Outlaws’ T20 captain ahead of 2024, leading the side with the most runs in his first season as skipper, having won the trophy with Notts in 2020.
In First Class cricket, he has developed a reputation for his rearguard as much as his run scoring, batting for 11 hours across game-saving innings against Somerset and Lancashire last year, with a masterful 365-ball vigil against Warwickshire in 2023 earning Notts an unlikely draw.
Across the last two seasons, he has mustered just shy of 2,000 runs, with his Notts First Class average now standing at 40.
