Kathryn Bryce has been named Player of the Tournament after shining in the recent ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
The Scotland skipper amassed 293 runs to finish as the competition’s leading run-scorer, with an unbeaten 131 against Ireland her standout performance as she rescued her side from 19/3 to post a creditable total.
That knock followed scores of 60 and 91 in wins over Thailand and defeat to Pakistan respectively.
The Blaze all-rounder also contributed with six wickets – three of them in that nail-biting finale against Ireland, as her side were defeated by one wicket off the final ball of the contest.
Sarah Bryce also chalked up a half-century, in a winning cause against West Indies, as Scotland won two and lost three of their five fixtures to fall two points short of qualification.
