Vertu Motors, a premium automotive retail brand with dealerships up and down the country, have extended their sponsorship of Trent Bridge into a third season, highlighting their commitment to supporting Nottinghamshire on and off the field.
The company began their tenure as an Official Partner in 2022 when Notts won the County Championship Division Two title, and they will continue to adorn the sleeve of Notts Outlaws’ shirts in the Vitality Blast and Metro Bank One Day Cup, as well as the back of the County Championship shirt.
With a number of dealerships across the East Midlands region – including those representing Volkswagen, Kia, Honda and Honda Bikes in Nottingham itself – Vertu Motors will also continue to back a range of local community programmes, whilst also boosting engagement in the sport.
In partnership with the Club’s Trent Bridge Community Trust and their Forget Me Notts initiative for individuals living with dementia and their carers, Vertu Motors treated carers to an afternoon tea, in a show of support for those impacted by the condition and the wider community.
“Nottinghamshire is one of the most famous names in the County Championship and we are delighted to be able to continue our partnership with the Club into the 2024 season,” Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors, said.
“We have enjoyed sharing the success that the Club has enjoyed on the field in recent years but more than that, have embraced the opportunity to work with them on a range of programmes to benefit the local community. We look forward to sharing more success, both on and off the field, during the year ahead.”
Michael Temple, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club’s Commercial Director, added: “We feel extremely privileged to continue our partnership with Vertu Motors who have proved to be committed, active and determined in their support of our club and our celebrated community initiatives.
“We feel that our values align perfectly, particularly when it comes to providing exceptional customer service, and we look forward to working together long into the future.”
